DR. LANCER NAGHDECHI, DO
Dr. Naghdechi's bio-psycho-social approach to psychiatry allows for patients to be seen and cared for as unique individuals with specific, targeted needs, rather than algorithmic based treatments based solely on symptoms. When treating patients, he takes mind, body, and spirit into consideration with the understanding that with the correct, scientifically based treatments and therapies, the body and mind are capable of self regulation, self healing, and health maintenance.
Dr. Lancer Naghdechi is a graduate of UCLA where he earned his BA in Psychology before receiving his MS degree in Biomedical Sciences from Rosalind Franklin University of Medical Sciences in Chicago. After receiving his medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences back in Los Angeles , he completed his Psychiatry Residency at Rutgers, New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ. While in residency, Dr. Naghdechi completed a Fellowship in Psychoanalysis at the Psychoanalytic Association of New York, an affiliate of NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Currently, he is a fellow in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Northwell/Zucker Hillside Hospital (also known as Long Island Jewish Medical Center/Cohen Children's Medical Center).
