Deborah Bedgood, LCSW
Deborah Bedgood is a dedicated and compassionate multi-state Licensed Clinical Social Worker with three decades of experience in helping individuals of all ages navigate life's challenges. Specializing in modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy, Deborah’s therapeutic style focuses on empowering clients to recognize and modify unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors, while identifying and utilizing their unique strengths to create positive change. Her goal is to provide a safe, nurturing space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
Deborah graduated cum laude with her Master in Social Work at New York University. Her expertise spans across various issues, including anxiety, depression, stress management, addressing parenting concerns, school-related issues, and life transitions. She believes that with the right support, everyone has the potential to overcome obstacles and achieve personal growth. Deborah is committed to providing tailored, evidence-based treatment that respects the individuality and unique experiences of each client. Deborah has training in Felial Play Therapy, the Nurtured Heart Approach, KAP and has taught parenting classes. Deborah has presented at multiple conferences covering topics on leadership, growth and change, self-care and stress relief.
When she isn't helping others on their journey to emotional well-being, Deborah enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the great outdoors. Her love for nature and animals often inspires her therapeutic approach, as she weaves in elements of self-compassion and self-care to promote holistic healing.
