CAREN WEINGART, LCSW

Caren is a multi-state Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 23 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families facing varied service needs throughout the lifecycle. She specializes in anxiety, depression, ADHD, eating issues, life transitions, and traumatic losses. Caren completed her Masters in Social Work at New York University, where she furthered her education with a second Masters degree in clinical nutrition. Her training path continued with certifications in trauma, grief, and accelerated resolution therapy. She has been honored as a presenter at conferences in New York City, addressing empowerment and evidence-based practices. 

 

Caren continues to pursue her passion for helping people in her community as she volunteers with nonprofits including her position as the President of the Board at Wayne Counseling Center. Caren utilizes evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Supportive Therapy, Family Psychoeducation, and Solution Oriented modalities to assist clients in their treatment.  She believes the power of the client-therapist relationship is key to success.
